Before enrolling your Mac, please make sure you don't have an existing Mobile Device Management (MDM) profile on your device. Check for this by visiting System Preferences → Profiles. If you don't see an item for Profiles, you're ready to proceed. If you do, you may need to find your existing management MDM and remove it, by selecting it and clicking the minus button like so (this requires administrative credentials to approve):

Once any existing MDM has been removed, proceed with the following to get enrolled:

1. Download the custom mobile config file provided to you by Ntiva (this file is unique to your organization — or your client organization). Once the .mobileconfig file has been downloaded, proceed with the following steps.
   
   
2. Most browsers will automatically open the downloaded file (if so, proceed to step 3). If this does not happen, then locate the .mobileconfig file and double click it, this will open up System Preferences.
   
   
3. Select 'Install' on the Profiles screen — this will require admin credentials. The profile should then show successfully installed.
