Ntiva’s Vision-Bot dashboard is a tool for efficiently and intelligently viewing the status of devices enrolled in our security and management system. Our technicians, engineers, and account managers use Vision-Bot to quickly and accurately review a fleet of client devices. We've designed this tool to be useful to our technicans and clients alike - if you would benefit from being able to regularly review your Apple device fleet, let us know.
If you would like to add additional users to Vision-Bot, please let us know and we'd be happy to assist. For larger teams, you may rather manage your organization's users internally, and that is supported as well. Vision-Bot users only access the data they are authorized to view. When creating new Vision-Bot users, you may further limit access to a specific grouping (building, geographic location, or departments) to maintain a strong "least-privilege" security stance.
To add a new user, follow these steps:
1. Add User
- Select the People icon (upper-right, to the left of the search icon)
- Enter the new user’s email address and click “Add user.”
2. Enter Contact Info
- Update your user's information. Note that while only the email address field is required, the other information can be helpful for tracking and managing additional users.
3. Set Access Level
- If you manage multiple locations/buildings/departments, you’ll want to limit access so users can view only the machines they are authorized to see. You accomplish this in Vision-Bot by selecting the appropriate location/building/department name. You can also type a department or group in the "Organization" search bar at the top to select from a list.
NOTE: If you want to provide access to your employees so they can view all devices, then choose Your Account (which will display in Vision-Bot as your company name). - Check the Make this user the primary contact box if this user is the primary contact at this location. This checkbox provides an extra level of reference but does not provide any additional privileges.
4. Set Privileges
- View devices is enabled by default and confirms the level of access this person has (see red oval). If you also want to allow this user to add, edit and delete user accounts within this location, then also check Manage user accounts.
5. Save
- Add a custom welcome message or click Save to send an invitation email to the new user so they can set their password and sign in.

Depending on your level of permissions in Vision-Bot, additional options may be available to you when creating new users. In order to respect least-privilege security recommendations, please do not check those boxes without communicating with a Vision-Bot administrator.
