If your organization uses Microsoft Conditional Access to ensure important information is only accessed on trusted devices, you may need to register your Mac before accessing company resources.
1 - Launch MacManage and click the Register device button in the bottom-left corner:
2 - Click Continue:
3 - The Company Portal app will launch - click Sign In:
4 - Authenticate with your Microsoft credentials, including MFA if applicable:
*Note - if you're already signed into SSO on your Mac, you may be skipped straight to step 6
5 - You'll see a screen similar to this when you've successfully signed in. Click Done:
6 - MacManage will then check for any Microsoft accounts and ask you to select the one you'd like to register. Select your preferred account and click Continue:
7 - The SSO window will close and you'll be informed that registration is complete in MacManage. Click Done:
We're aware of an unusual bug where this message can sometimes instead read "Registration Error", but your Mac did successfully register. If you reboot and reopen MacManage, you should see that the registration was successful.
8 - You can confirm your device is registered by checking for your registration status in the bottom-left corner:
