Remote Lock & Wipe

MDM Commands

The ability to remotely lock or wipe an Addigy-enrolled Apple device is built into the platform. No additional profiles or configuration is required.

Controls

• Remote Wipe (Erase All Content and Settings - all Apple devices)
• Remote Lock (macOS)
• Managed Lost Mode (iOS, iPadOS - Supervised devices only)

Notes

• Remote Lock for macOS locks the device with a six-digit code that must be entered before the operating system will load again.
   
• Managed Lost Mode is the iOS/iPadOS equivalent of Remote Lock. It places the phone in Lost Mode, where the device will use available network services to send its approximate location to Addigy, and prevent further use of the device until the feature is disabled.
