Maintenance Items

For offices that don't rely on workflows involving regular use of these tools, we recommend using a recurring maintenance item to disable these services regularly.

Controls

• Maintenance item frequency: [Daily]
• Disable Remote Login (SSH)
• Disable Remote Management (VNC)

• These services get automatically re-enabled on demand by Addigy when sending requests for LiveTerminal and LiveDesktop (MDM required).
• Disabling these services on a schedule gives you the security of knowing they're disabled a majority of the time, while still allowing access when needed to support users.
