Apple uses a tool called FileVault to encrypt your data and keep it secure. To work correctly, each user account on your Mac needs permission to encrypt/decrypt your drive. Ntiva-enrolled Macs will try and automatically resolve any permissions errors discovered, but they may need your help to complete the process. If an error is detected, you’ll see this popup:
Click OK to proceed and enter your Mac login password:
Your computer will try to repair the error and let you know when service is complete:
